INTERFAITH DINNER NETWORK
Sharing Meals, Hope,
and Community.
St. Michael’s participates in the Interfaith Dinner Network, a community outreach initiative that provides meals to those in need at Hope House on Amelia Island. This ministry offers adult parishioners an opportunity to live out their faith through service by assisting with the preparation and sharing of hot meals, fellowship, and prayer.
Volunteers from St. Michael’s are guided by experienced team leaders and work collaboratively to plan, shop, prepare, serve, and clean up meals, while also offering hospitality and meaningful interaction with guests. Service to this ministry typically takes place on the first Thursday and third Tuesday of each month.
Prior to each dinner, an email is sent to volunteers outlining specific opportunities to serve. Parishioners may assist by cooking, serving, greeting guests, helping with cleanup, or contributing desserts and bottled water. Those interested in learning more or joining the volunteer mailing list are encouraged to contact the ministry coordinators.
