Marriage Enrichment Retreat
We invite you and your spouse to a marriage retreat at the Omni Resort - Walker’s Landing. Come join us for a mixture of fellowship, quality couple time, teachings, and a catered on-site dinner in this beautiful setting. The retreat will begin at 1 PM and conclude by 9 PM - we hope this will be just what you need!
COST: Early bird pricing is $127 by July 31st or $147 by September 6th. Price includes admission for two and a catered dinner.
GUEST SPEAKER: John Chick and his wife Catherine have been married for 20 years and are the proud parents of eleven children. Their marriage has been built through faith, tested through sacrifice, and strengthened by commitment to keep showing up for each other and for God’s call on their life. A former professional football player, John now serves as Director of Prison Ministry for the Diocese of St. Augustine and leads Iron Saints, a Catholic App he created to form men in discipline, brotherhood, and Christ-centered strength. Come hear how marriage has challenged them, shaped them, and anchored their life.
Solid Foundations Spiritual Formation Course
St. Michael’s Catholic Church invites you to Solid Foundations, an eight-day course in spiritual formation presented over four weekends: September 26–27, October 3–4, November 7–8, and November 14–15, 2026, in the St. Michael’s Parish Hall / St. Peter Claver Building.
The course will be presented by Jean Khoury, founder of The School of Mary, and is designed for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of the spiritual life and grow closer to union with Christ.
Through teaching and practical formation, participants will explore Lectio Divina, the Prayer of the Heart, the stages of spiritual growth, discernment, faith, hope and love, temptation, the action of grace, and the role of the Holy Spirit in the spiritual life. The course is especially valuable for priests, deacons, catechists, Directors of Religious Education, and others in ministry or leadership roles, as well as those interested in formation as spiritual directors or spiritual formators.
Thanks to the support of St. Michael’s and a generous parishioner, the full course is being offered for $250, reduced from the regular $840 cost. Registration is required.

St. Michael's Parish Feast Day
Join us for St. Michael’s Parish Feast Day on Sunday, September 27, beginning with a Solemn Mass at 10:00 AM, celebrated by Bishop Felipe J. Estévez, S.T.D. (Emeritus). Following Mass, enjoy a parish hall luncheon, Jeopardy, and fellowship with our parish family. RSVP required.
The School of Mary Spiritual Life Immersion
Join us for a four day immersion rooted in Scripture and the great tradition of spiritual theology. Presented by Jean Khoury, Catholic theologian with over 30 years experience working with consecrated and lay people.
Founder of the School of Mary, a Catholic school for the teaching of deep spiritual life for adults.
John Khoury earned his Bachelors degree in Philosophy and his Masters in Spiritual Theology from Toulouse (France) and Teresianum (Rome). He is presently completing his Ph.D. in Spiritual Theology at the Angelicum (Rome) and now at the Teresianum (Rome).
Bishop Pohlmeier has engaged Jean and the School of Mary to form Spiritual Directors in the Diocese of St. Augustine.

Young Families Gathering
Come out and meet other families and chat through ideas for the formation of a new Young Families Ministry at St. Michael’s. This event is primarily intended for those with infants and toddlers. Refreshments provided.
