DAY DROP IN CENTER Ministry

The Day Drop In Center is located on the property of the Fernandina Beach Church of Christ on the corner of Jasmine St. and S. 14th St. Christian-minded volunteers prepare and serve breakfast and a bag lunch 5 days a week at the Center to those in need. Working with volunteers from all faiths, and in conjunction with the Nassau Coalition for the Homeless, volunteers also provide fellowship and are trained to assist in registering clients, giving out their mail, assisting with laundry and shower facilities. There are other opportunities to serve those in need during the cold weather months
(Cold Night Shelter) and hot summer months (Cooling Center).

Besides volunteering any day Tuesday – Friday from the times of 8:45AM – 11:00AM (Monday is run by Fernandina Beach Church of Christ volunteers), donations of necessary items are always welcome.
