We are a group of women of all ages and backgrounds, coming together and sharing our faith and lives with one another. Through these caring relationships we are striving to foster a real sense of family in our parish and community.
As we develop and maintain our spiritual and social life and offer our financial assistance to our parish, we, as St. Michael’s CCW members, also pledge to foster a sense of ecumenism among other churches in Nassau County.
The St. Michael’s Council of Catholic Women welcome all women to become a part of our organization. We especially want to welcome new members to our Parish and we look forward to meeting you. SMCCW is open to all Catholic women who are members of our Parish and all non-Catholic women whose spouses are members. Join us for food, fun and fellowship.
Our meetings are held on the second Monday of the month in the Parish Hall beginning at 6:30 PM. We alternate our meetings with a general meeting with a speaker and a social dinner meeting the following month.
Some of our activities include:
Annual Christmas Party
Chairing the Angel Tree (C.P.)
Decorating the church for Advent/Christmas
Ecumenical Walk and Fellowship with local churches
Hosting the Holiday Bazaar
Maintaining the Parish Gift Shop
Provide hand crafted items for sale
