Jesus
carries his cross
Leader: We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
All: Because by your holy cross You have redeemed the
world.
They clothed him in purple and, weaving a crown of thorns, placed it on him. They began to salute with him with, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and kept striking his head with a reed and spitting upon him. They knelt before him in homage. And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple cloak , dressed him in his own clothes, and led him out to crucify him. (Mark 17..20)
Our Father, who art in Heaven;
hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done
on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those
who trespass against us, and lead us not into
temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen
