Jesus is condemned to
death
Leader - We adore Thee, O Christ, and bless Thee.
All - Because by Thy holy cross Thou hast redeemed the
world.
When it was morning, all the chief
priests and the elders of the people took counsel
against Jesus to put him to death. They bound him, led
him away, and handed him over to Pilate, the Governor.
Now Jesus stood before the governor, and he questioned
him. "Are you the king of the Jews?" Jesus said,
"You say so." (Matthew 27)
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit
as it was in the beginning
is now and ever shall be
world without end
Amen.
